Here are the states divided into the nine current regions. They are listed by region:

  1. Northeast – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont;
  2. Mid-Atlantic – Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia;
  3. Southeast – Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Virgin Islands;
  4. Mid-South – Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee;
  5. South Central – Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas;
  6. Great Lakes – Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin;
  7. Prairie States – Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota;
  8. Northwest – Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming; and
  9. Southwest – American Samoa, Arizona, California, Guam, Hawaii, Nevada,Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, Utah.

Here are the states divided into the seven proposed regions. They are listed by their tentative regional names:

  1. NY & PA — New York, Pennsylvania, Virtual Chapter;
  2. Northeast — Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont;
  3. Southeast + Atlantic Islands — District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Virginia, Virgin Islands;
  4. South & West — Arkansas, Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma Tennessee, Texas, Utah);
  5. California;
